MGM Deemed University is Mahatma Gandhi Mission (MGM) Trust,
which was set up in the year 1982. In its journey of commitments to the nation
for more than 25 years, the institute has started a number of educational
institutions running mainly in medical, dental, nursing, engineering,
architecture, management, law, journalism, Indian Languages, music, dance etc.
These institutes of the trust are located at Navi Mumbai,
Aurangabad, Nanded & Parbhani in Maharashtra and Noida in UP, having a
strength of more than 15,000 students.
The institute has been originally notified as a Deemed to be
University in the name and style of MGM Institute of Health Sciences vide
Notification No. F.9-21/2005-U.3 (A) dated 30.08.2006 issued by the Government
of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, department of Higher
Education New Delhi.
Vision
By the year 2020, MGM Institute of Health Sciences aims to
be a top ranking centre of excellence in Medical Education & Research.
Students graduating from the institute will have all the required skills to
deliver quality health care to all sections of the society with compassion
& benevolence, without prejudice or discrimination at affordable cost. As a
Research centre, it shall focus on finding better, safer & cheaper ways of diagnosing,
treating & preventing disease. In doing so, it will maintain highest
ethical standards.

The College offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of
Surgery (MBBS) Course. It's a four years and half years degree program.
Eligibility:
A Candidate belonging to open category must have obtained
not less than 50% mark in PCB.
Admission Procedure:
- As per MGM-CET Merit (Under Graduate)
- Admission in MBBS Course – For getting admission into MBBS course in Mahatma Gandhi Missions Medical College Navi Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, the students have to qualify Common Entrance Test conducted by MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai.
- The selection of the students is done based on the ranks obtained in the all India Entrance Examination.
