Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Medical College &
Hospital is situated in Sangli, Maharashtra. The college was started as a
constituent part of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University in 2005.
The institute has received approval from Medical Council of
India (MCI), New Delhi and is recognized by the state government.
The institute is goal is to give good training to produce
qualified and competent doctors.
The institute offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of
Surgery (MBBS) course of 5½ years duration, which includes internship period of
1 year.
The institute has well equipped and modern critical care
facilities like the, ICU, NICU and PICU. It also has a very modern and state of
art operation theatre and all the diagnostic facilities like CT scan, MRI,
mammography etc. are available. It has a 24 hours functional blood bank and a
pharmacy.

Courses Offered:
Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
Its duration is four and a half years plus one year of
compulsory rotating internship course.
The course conducts theory classes and clinical training
according to MCI guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum Eligibility: 17 yrs complete Should have passed 12
std of HSC or any other equivalent board with minimum 50 % marks in Physics,
Chemistry, Biology & minimum 50 % marks in the CET.
Admission Procedure:
Admission Criteria is MH - CET, AIPMT
