BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences (BGSGIMS),
Bangalore was opened in 2013. BGSGIMS is associated to Rajiv Gandhi University
of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore and is approved by Medical Council of
India (MCI)-New Delhi.
The college has been managed by Adichunchanagiri Shikshana
Trust. The college has been created to impart quality medical education and
generate dedicated healthcare professionals for services in the society.

teaching and learning techniques to both students and teachers. Highly advanced

Bachelor of Surgery
& Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS)
Course Duration – 5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years +
Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)
The M.B.B.S Course is governed by the regulations of the
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. The duration of the
course is four and half years (9 terms, each of 6 month duration) of academic
Study and one year of internship.
Eligibility Criteria:
The students should have passed the two years P.U.C
examination which is conducted by Karnataka P.U Education board and the
candidates must hold 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology must
as optional subjects.
BGS global Institute of Medical Sciences Admission:
The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on
the 31st December of the year of admission. Selection is through COMED-K and
CET.
Students who have completed 10+2 with good marks in
academics. CET or COMED-K Exams to be compulsory taken.
